The duck houses are within a secure trellised pen. Wire is sunk beneath the ground to prevent digging predators.

Small House

The metal mesh door is slid up to allow them in. The side panel removes for access to change their straw.

(Don't be confused by the chickens. This is a duck house. The chickens have the use of the duck's half of the pen during the daytime when the ducks are out roaming the garden for slugs!)

Larger House

Side view- with hinged doors for access to change straw. The door is at the left end and is metal mesh like on the smaller house!
